Our own change makers,
Greetings!!!
I am delighted, honoured and with A heart full of emotions as I address you by taking responsibilities as first lady of the district for year 2021-22.
I would like to extend my sincere congratulations and give my best wishes to welldeserving Team of Rotary Presidents and partners for the commencement of their new Rotary journey in this year.
I was thrilled and impressed by seeing the involvement and interest of changemaker partners when I got opportunity to interact with them during the partner sessions held at training seminars like “Rabat”(AGTS )at Goa,”Ru-baru”(PETS &SETS), “PARWAAZ”(DTTS), “KAFILLA”(District
assembly)You all were equally active and vibrant. I am sure and confident that with all your support the District will touch newer heights as you all are the backbone of the system.
Our world leader RIP Shekhar Mehta and his partner R’Ann Rashi ji always emphasise that we need to bring in more women to Rotary they can understand what are the problems women are facing in our country and bring in solutions. So women Empowerment and teaching the girl
child to.make our women stronger is our first focus area and we will achieve this through “GROW MORE TO DO MORE” Imagine the change we as rotary members can make when there are so many more of us! More people to care for others, more people to “Serve To Change Lives”Which justifies theme of this year. Women are multitaskers so please don’t remain just partners, become Rotarians as Rotary gives endless opportunities for renewal and growth.
We started this year with a bang as on 3rd July – “JUNOON”District installation was held where our DG Rtn. Anup Mital and the presidents were installed together. I congratulate all the presidents who were installed by DG by a customised and designed collar for each of the President
and presented graduation degrees to them.
I congratulate each leader for extending full support and actively participating in our projects – supporting environment which was focus of the month of July by planting trees and celebrating VanUtsav by making mini forests and tree plantations at various places.
In the end I once again take delight in wishing you all the good luck in all the future Rotary endeavours …At the same time asking you to help to make our district happy district but
let your health and safety be priority.
Looking forward to work together to make this year a grand success “Together we can, Together we will” With all 3J’s ( JOSH, JASBA, JUNOON )
Best wishes
Rtn. Shruti Mittal
