Notes

  • The installation function must be short & crisp. The above duration of 90 minutes is just suggestive. However it is strongly recommended to conclude the installation function within 90 minutes. Concluding the function within an hour is considered best.
  • It is suggested not to have too many speakers to save time & avoid monotony.
  • It is suggested that the welcome of only Chief Guest/ DG, Guest of Honor, Dist Trainer, PDG (In the order of seniority), IPDG, DGE, DGN, District Directors, AG, family members of President & Secretary, Visiting Rotarians from other District(s) should be done in one go not exceeding the time limit. Recognition of other visiting Rotarians from our District & the dignitaries who arrive late to be done at the end.
  • It should be ensured that only major recognitions like best club members, Four Avenue of Service, RI Presidential Citation etc. are awarded at the function. Rest of the club recognitions should be awarded at the Thanks giving function by the outgoing president.
  • Cultural performances if any must be presented only after the formal function is over.
